Katerina Cizek and Heather Frise conducted a free small group seminar about the 7 intervention films which were created over a period of four years.
This was an inside look at both how the movies were made and the social change methods which were employed during the process.
These are documentaries with a difference.
Each of the 7 interventions were thoroughly researched by researchers at the University of Toronto. Ms. Cizek spent four years working with St. Michael's Hospital. Each and every documentary story tells of a particular group of people and how they interacted with a part of the population of Toronto served by the hospital.
All 7 documentary movies are available in a boxed set: Filmmaker in Residence - The Complete Collection
The National Film board has an Education Arm which offers workshops, resources, films and study guides to assist teachers and students.
